Firearms
Before shipment: If you cancel a firearm order (non pre-order) before it ships, you will receive a refund minus a restocking fee starting at 5%.
After shipment, before transfer: You must fully inspect your firearm at your FFL dealer before completing the Form 4473 transfer. You have 3 calendar days from the date of delivery to your FFL to inspect and report any issues. Returns during this window are subject to a restocking fee starting at 10%, and the firearm must be verified in new, unfired condition by our team upon return.
After transfer: Once a firearm has been transferred to you on a Form 4473 — or 3 calendar days after delivery to your FFL, whichever comes first — the sale is final. Per ATF regulations, a transferred firearm is considered used regardless of whether it has been fired. No returns or refunds will be issued.
Return shipping for firearms (inspected with no issue) is the customer's responsibility and must be shipped through an FFL dealer.
NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs)
Due to the ATF Form 4 approval process, NFA items have separate refund terms. See our NFA / Class III Policy for complete details on denial refunds, abandonment timelines, and gun trust purchases.
Gunsmithing Add-Ons
Cancelled orders that include gunsmithing add-ons (sight/optic installation, etc.) are subject to an additional 10% fee on top of the relevant restocking fee.
Parts & Accessories
Most non-serialized parts and accessories may be returned within 15 days of delivery, provided the item is still sellable as new - unused, unmodified, and in its original packaging. Returns are subject to a restocking fee starting at 10%, depending on the condition of the item and packaging.
If you cancel a parts/accessories order before it ships, you will be charged a 5% restocking fee.
All parts and accessories sales are final 15 days after delivery.
Custom Items
Any product that has been customized or otherwise altered beyond standard spec at customer request cannot be cancelled once changes are submitted. If we were not already planning on receiving the item in that particular spec, then customer is responsible for fully purchasing item upon completion as normal.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us at support@reactivegunworks.com immediately with photos. We will ship a replacement upon receipt of the returned item and provide a prepaid return label. If the error was ours, we cover all shipping costs.
We cannot replace/refund products that have been used or modified.
Warranty
Reactive Gunworks does not warranty products we sell. We work exclusively with reputable manufacturers who stand behind their products with their own warranty programs. For warranty-related issues, contact the manufacturer directly. We're happy to help facilitate the process where we can, but the warranty relationship is between you and the manufacturer.
Fraudulent warranty claims will result in refusal of future business.
Ammunition
All ammunition sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds — no exceptions.
Sale Events & Closeout Items
All purchases made during a sale event or marked as discounted and/or closeout are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds.
If you purchased an item at regular price and it goes on sale, you may request a price adjustment if all of the following are true:
- Your request is made in writing within 2 calendar days of your original order
- We have more than two of the SKU in stock at the time of your request
- The adjustment will be issued as store credit (not a cash refund)
How to Request a Return
Contact us at support@reactivegunworks.com or through your account under "Orders" to request a return authorization. Do not ship items back without authorization — unauthorized returns may be refused.
When returning any item, use a trackable shipping method and insure the package appropriately. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Color & Finish Variations
Products with colored finishes like anodizing, PVD, or other similar finishes often have natural variations and may differ from photos on our site, from other parts on the same build, and from the same product sold by other retailers. Color variation in coated firearm components is normal and is not grounds for a return. If you have strict color requirements for a certain project, reach out to us for more details/additional photos of current coating color.
Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take additional time to appear on your statement.
