Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days. During high-volume periods (sales events, product launches), orders may take up to 3 business days to ship. You will receive tracking information by email once your order leaves our facility.
Shipping Methods
Carrier and service level depend on the product type:
- Handguns: FedEx 2Day or FedEx Overnight.
- Rifles & shotguns: FedEx Ground, FedEx 2Day, or FedEx Overnight.
- Accessories & non-serialized parts: USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx 2Day, or FedEx Overnight, depending on size and destination.
- NFA items (suppressors, SBRs): FedEx, shipped only after ATF dealer-to-dealer transfer approval.
We reserve the right to select the carrier and service level that best protects your order. Carrier selection is not guaranteed. If you pay for upgraded shipping, you will never receive shipping option with slower delivery time than you selected. Carriers do not guarantee lead times, so we cannot do anything about longer-than-expected shipping times after we give packages to carrier.
Firearms Shipping
Federal law requires all firearms to be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. You cannot have a firearm shipped directly to a residential address. During checkout, you will select your preferred FFL dealer through our dealer locator. To expedite processing, your receiving dealer may send a copy of their FFL to support@reactivegunworks.com in advance.
We verify all receiving FFL licenses prior to shipping.
NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs)
NFA items require an ATF-approved dealer-to-dealer transfer before they can ship. This process typically takes 7–10 business days. Once the transfer is approved, the item will ship and tracking information will be sent by email. For complete details on the NFA purchase and transfer process, see our NFA / Class III Policy.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are based on products in cart and selected shipping method. Free ground shipping is currently available for orders that do not contain firearms — details are displayed in the cart.
Address Verification and Matching
Orders for parts and accessories must have the shipping address match the billing address and billing address must match the address on file with your bank for the purchasing card. Address discrepancies between billing and shipping and/or billing and bank address are subject to cancellation and a restocking fee starting at 5%. In extenuating circumstances where you may need an exemption to the shipping and billing addresses match, you must reach out to Reactive for approval before order placement by emailing support@reactivegunworks.com.
Restricted States & Jurisdictions
Some products cannot be shipped to all states or municipalities due to local regulations. If you reside in a restricted state (including but not limited to California, New York, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington D.C., or the City of Chicago), you are required to follow all additional steps and restrictions and ensure your order is legal in your jurisdiction before submitting. Per new 2026 California ruling that requires certain firearm parts be shipped to an FFL, we will usually ship appropriate parts to your local FFL, under the condition that your FFL has already confirmed they will receive the exact items and transfer them to you. Failure to follow all relevant laws and guidelines, including instances resulting in shipped products needing to return to Reactive, will be subject to restocking fees starting at 20%.
.We reserve the right to cancel orders that would place the customer in clear violation of their state or local laws. You are required to confirm legality prior to placing your order. If an order is cancelled for this reason, you will receive a refund minus a restocking fee starting at 5%.
You are responsible for knowing and complying with all federal, state, and local laws that apply to the products you purchase. While we do our best to stay current on regulations across the country, the legal responsibility belongs to the buyer.
Damaged or Lost Shipments & Delivery Assurance
If your order arrives damaged, contact us at support@reactivegunworks.com immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. All damaged or lost shipments are reported by the customer to the applicable carrier for investigation, and we will assist customer wherever needed in customer's claim submission to carrier. Once a tracked package is marked as delivered to customer, customer is fully responsible for package, including avoiding porch theft or similar loss. If customer adds Delivery Assurance at checkout, the order will be fully insured. Otherwise, shipping carriers often provide coverage up to $100.
Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel an order before it ships, contact us as soon as possible. Standard orders cancelled before shipment are subject to a 5% restocking fee. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled — see our Returns & Refunds Policy for post-shipment options.
Local Pickup — Fruitland, Idaho
Local pickup is available at our location in Fruitland, Idaho. If you select Reactive Gunworks as your FFL dealer during checkout, your order will be prepared for in-store pickup at no shipping cost. We will notify you by email when your order is ready. All applicable transfer paperwork (Form 4473 for firearms) will be completed at the time of pickup.
